**UPDATE** I'm feeling much better! I went to my chiropractor for a couple of adjustments and he said I have a "weak disc" in my low back and that's apparently what was causing all of the pain. Also, with my thyroid medicine increased, I feel much more awake! Thanks for praying!!
The past couple of days have been a whirlwind of medical activity for us (again)! I had a really severe pain in my lower, right side that started late Sunday night. I still had it Monday morning, so I went into the doctor only to hear (after an hour and a half) that they couldn't find anything wrong. So, I was sent for a pelvic ultrasound since my doctor wondered if it could be an ovarian cyst. I had the ultrasound this morning and the tech that did it said she didn't really see anything abnormal, but she'll have the radiologist check it.
I'm so discouraged by all of this...I told Nate that I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I feel like there's not even anything left on my right side to be hurting--it's all been removed in the past year and a half! So, I guess we'll just wait and see; either the pain will go away or I'll end up in the ER at some point because I've passed out from the pain.
The good news is that my Endocrinologist called yesterday with the results of my latest thyroid test and he increased my medication! I have been SO, SO tired lately and I was really hoping that was why (so it could be easily fixed!). He said my levels were still pretty far off so that would explain the exhaustion! I will start the new dose tomorrow, so I should start feeling better within a couple of weeks.
On another note...we went for Tyson's ENT appointment yesterday and he is scheduled to get tubes on February 17th. So, hopefully we will see some quieter nights and a few less trips to the doctor in the coming months!
To close, a friend just sent me this song today and it was an encouragement to me going through all this health stuff...hopefully it will be an encouragement to you in some way! =)

Oh, Hang in there Sadie! We'll pray for great results with Tyson's ears and that you will start feeling better. Thanks for sharing the song too!
