Dryers and Tubes

Well, today has been quite a day. We bought a new dryer (and washer to go with it) and we found out that Tyson will be getting tubes in his ears!

Tyson has been on a low-dose antibiotic for a few weeks hoping to prevent any more ear infections. The doctor had planned to leave him on that for several months to get him through the winter. But, it didn't work--he has another ear infection. We saw a doctor that he's never seen before today and when he was looking through Tyson's chart he commented "wow, he's lived half his life on antibiotics...". So, we've been referred to the ENT and will probably have an appointment in the next few days.

On another note...our dryer hasn't been working well lately (squeaking really loud!!) and last week it completely went out on us. We've been trying to find a deal on a new dryer looking on Craig's List etc. and we finally found one for a decent price, but we had to buy the washer with it. That works for us because one of the knobs on our washer is broken and it doesn't seem like it has a lot of life left in it either! Both the washer and dryer are about a year-old and we bought both for the price of a lower-end, new dryer! AND, they both have a one-year warranty! So, hopefully this weekend I can get some laundry done! It's pretty sad when I look forward to spending my birthday doing laundry with my new washer and dryer! =)

Hopefully the tubes will work well for Tyson - poor little guy. How I remember those days! Emmy went through 2 set of tubes. They make life so much better though.
Congrats on the washer and dryer - sounds like you guys found a good deal. Happy Birthday and Happy Laundering!
