Tyson

Last night we noticed that Tyson's foot and ankle were all red and swollen. His skin was so hard it felt like it would explode if you touched it hard enough! After 2 trips to the ER, they finally figured out he has Cellulitis (a fancy name for a skin infection). The second doctor Tyson saw said she thinks he probably had a bug bite and he just scratched at it enough that it became infected. Here's what his leg/foot looked like today when we took him in to the ER for the second time (the marker is from the first time we took him in...they wanted to see if the redness was spreading).



The good news is that it doesn't seem to bother him a whole lot. He's still really happy! He's been limping every now and again and he's slowed down a little, but he's in a good mood at least. They put some topical antibiotic on it and they gave him an oral antibiotic so hopefully he'll be better soon!
