Fun Summer Days!

We have a busy past could of days enjoying the fun of summer! Last night we went to a baseball game. It was Family Fun Night at the game, so the kids got to do all kinds of activities before the start of the game. We went to the game with some of our friends and learned a valuable lesson--6 kids and a baseball game do not go well together! So, the dads got to stay with 2 kids and the moms got to leave in the 5th inning (it was way more fun for us to hang out at home with the kids in bed!)!

The only way Tyson made it to the 5th inning was with a large box of Mike and Ike's and a wonderful couple in front of us who were kind enough to play with him! I just love people like that--instead of being annoyed by him running around them, they enjoyed playing with him! He was even running and hugging the lady! He's normally really shy, but you should see him after an entire box of Mike and Ike's--wow! He was so silly!

Tonight we went to a restaurant in a small town just south of us. They were having a little "festival" with lots of music, food and some fun games for the kids! They got to jump in a bounce house, try to sink people in the dunk tank, and they received some ballon animals (and flowers!)! We got to visit with "Grandma" Lorraine while we were there, so that was wonderful--we haven't seen her in a long time!
