The theme for this week's Favorite Foto Friday is 'Easter Memories'. Here are a couple of pictures from 2 years ago...I'm not sure where my pictures are from last year! This Easter was right after a wild couple of months at our house! The February before Addy had broken her arm. We went in the day after she got her cast off for Creighton to get stitches in his head (by his eyebrow). Then, after that cut was healing, Creighton tried to duck under the garage door when Nate was closing it and got hit on the head (you can see that cut really well in the Easter picture!). So, that's why Creighton looks a little beat up! I was a little suprised they let us keep our kids after that many trips to the doctor... =)

I hope Creighton feels better after attempting to beat the gauge door. I have a somewhat similar story. Treven and I visited the Waterpark of American in MN. Treven got stuck inside a slower body slide since likes to sit up when he uses the slides. I was about a third of the way down the same slide when I heard him say "Hi daddy." Although I thought that was odd, I assumed he stuck his head into the slide after he finished. All 200+ pounds of me, heel first, collided with him. He was quite shaken up, but not hurt. Afterwords, we discussed the importance of laying down, especially when you get stuck.
One side note, I am still morning the first round loss of the Drake Bulldogs at "The big dance." Although the womens' programs at Iowa, ISU, and Drake are performing quite well this year, I believe the Drake Men's basketball gave Hawkeye and Cyclone fans something big to cheer for.
