Addy is really good at getting people wrapped around her little finger...she has our neighbor boy (who is in kindergarten) wrapped up pretty tight and he's willing to do just about anything for her.
Last week, they were playing outside and she decided to come in. Here is the conversation that took place when she came inside:
Nate: "Addy where are your shoes and coat??"
Addy: "Gage is getting them for me. He knew I wanted to stay inside, so he went to get my stuff out of the backyard."
Me: "Wow, that was really nice of him. He's sure showing a lot of kindness and love to you."
Addy: "Yeah, and you know what that means..."
Me: (trying to suppress a smile) "No...uh, what does that mean?"
Addy: "Oh, never mind."
Me: "No, really...what does it mean?"
Addy: "Never mind!"
Me: "Oh, just tell me, come on!"
(this went on for a little bit before she finally decided to tell me)
Addy: GULP "Marriage."
Creighton
Creighton is 8 years old and in second grade. He loves school, reading and playing games.
Addy
Addy is 6 years old and in kindergarten. She seems like she's going on 25 most of the time! She loves horses, books and snuggling!
Tyson
Tyson is 2 and is by far our hardest toddler! He likes being outside, trucks, trains and passies... =)
Mocha
Mocha is our puppy--she is 3 years old. She has TONS of energy which is great so she can keep up with the action here! She has quickly become one of the kids and we couldn't imagine things without her (well, somedays...)! No, she's not peeing in the picture, just sitting! =)

Yikes! Isn't it funny how their minds work?!?! Emmy is going through a phase where she is a bit concerned/obsessed about who she is going to marry when she grows up so she occasionally spots total strangers who are going to be her "true love" - like a bald guy at the Ground Round Restaurant lat month. She walked past him, turned to me and said, "mom, that's the man I am going to marry!"
LOL uh oh!!! I think my little girl may have a crush on your little boy though its never been said outright...and I'm not even asking such a thing. just an fyi! what is it about girls and crushes???
