The total for everything in these 2 pictures was around $4.25. If I had bought everything full price (sale prices...) it would have been $78.79!!
On another note--I apologize for not posting much lately, we have been really busy! Nate's Grandma passed away last week, so we were up there at Nate's parents for her funeral. While it was very sad to see her go, it was the best for her. I'm sure she's loving Heaven and while she will be greatly missed here on earth I can only imagine how great it must be to final meet her Savior!
We have also had new life in the past week! My sister, Sarah, gave birth to a baby boy, Silas, on June 7th. They are both home and doing well! Congratulations guys! I've said this like 10 times, but...I can't wait to hold him! =)
We are still having an unbelieveable amount of flooding here...the parking lot at Nate's work is under water now and it's creeping towards the building. The worst of the flooding is supposed to be this afternoon. The weather in our state and surrounding states has just been horrible--I feel so terrible for the people who have lost their possessions and/or their homes.
Tyson is battling yet another ear infection! He was on antibiotics this past week, but his eyes are still really mattery, so I'm not sure the antibiotics quite cut it. We'll give it a couple days and see what happens! We have started giving him Claritin to see if that helps him feel a little better (he's stuffy ALL of the time which is why he has had so many ear infections I think...). The Claritin has worked some, but he hates taking it so we haven't been really consistent about giving it to him. The poor kid is scarred and hates taking any medicine after that really yucky one he was on a couple of months ago!
I have an appointment on Friday to get my thyroid checked out. I had some blood work done for something else and my thyroid results came back weird (I'm assuming it would be HYPOthyroidism since I'm so tired all of the time. From what I understand, they plan to do more blood work on Friday and possibly some kind of thyroid scan.
Well, that is my random babbling for today...I'll try to get more posted again soon!
