Barnstormers

Yesterday we got to go see the American Barnstormers who are on tour. You can read more about the Barnstormers and their tour here. There are about 10-15 biplanes touring together. It was really neat! Creighton has now switched from wanting to be an engineer to wanting to be a pilot when he grows up! =) He wanted to go up in one of those plans SO badly! One of the pilots was very kind and actually let Creighton sit up in the cockpit of the plane. Addy and Tyson got to sit in the backseat of the plane, but they weren't nearly as excited as Creighton was! Here is the picture of Creighton in the cockpit (he says he's "turning right" so that's why he's striking this weird pose)...

This weekend we are headed up to the Rise Fest (more details here). We're looking forward to a fun-filled day of Christian music concerts! The kids are trying to listen to a few songs from the bands who are going to be there--hopefully they will know a few before we get there! We are going to see some great bands like MercyMe, December Radio, Addison Road (Addy's really excited to see them!), Go Fish and more!

Update on my thyroid stuff...I go on Monday and Tuesday (the 23rd and 24th) for an ultrasound and a thyroid scan. They drew more blood last Friday and my levels are still really low, so they have eliminated the possibility of this being a virus. I will post more when I know more!
