Creighton had a friend over to play for a little bit this afternoon. They were upstairs playing for awhile and then Creighton came down and said "Mom, can we have Tyson's fingernails?" I'm sure you can imagine that caught me off guard a little...so, I asked him "what?" and sure enough he said the same thing. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what in the world he was wanting--were they wanting to cut Tyson's fingernails or what?? So, I just kept asking "Tyson's fingernails?" and he just kept saying "yeah". That conversation was going nowhere so I finally dared to ask "why do you need Tyson's fingernails? What are you going to do?" He simply stated they wanted to play with the "goop" upstairs. Ok...that still didn't give me any more of an idea of what he was talking about! "So...why do you need Tyson's fingernails for that?" I asked him. Here was his response--"well, because we can't get it open, so we need sharp fingernails. Tyson's fingernails are REALLY sharp, so we thought those might work!"
Oh how funny...their minds and the stuff they come up with amazes me (and makes me laugh!!)
Creighton
Creighton is 8 years old and in second grade. He loves school, reading and playing games.
Addy
Addy is 6 years old and in kindergarten. She seems like she's going on 25 most of the time! She loves horses, books and snuggling!
Tyson
Tyson is 2 and is by far our hardest toddler! He likes being outside, trucks, trains and passies... =)
Mocha
Mocha is our puppy--she is 3 years old. She has TONS of energy which is great so she can keep up with the action here! She has quickly become one of the kids and we couldn't imagine things without her (well, somedays...)! No, she's not peeing in the picture, just sitting! =)
