Randomness

Here's just a few random things that my kids have said lately that I thought were funny...

C: "Addy, I can't believe it! You are so close to becoming a professional football player! The only things you have left to learn are how to catch the ball, run fast, and throw the ball hard!" (yep, so close...)

C: "Mom, I just can't eat this Macaroni and Cheese. We have it so much and I really think I'm getting addicted to it. There is no girl that will ever want to marry someone who is addicted to Mac n Cheese, so I really can't eat it."

We have a joke at our house (long story...) that if you leave the 5-pin standing in bowling then you are pregnant. So, we went bowling last week and on one of my turns, I left the 5-pin standing.

A: "Mom, you're pregnant! You left the 5-pin up! Then, a little more quietly she said "ooooohhhhh, so that's how you got pregnant!"

Some of you have already heard this one, but I just had to share it with the rest of you! We were shopping in Kohl's for some clothes for me and here's the conversation we had...

A: "Here you go, Mom, here's an 'S' for you!"
S: "Thanks Addy, but I think Mommy needs an 'XL'."
C: "Addy, 'S' stands for small and 'XL' stands for extra lard."

I burst out laughing...I was laughing so hard I was crying in the middle of the isle at Kohl's.

C: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I meant to say extra large. Oops! I'm so sorry..." (He had no idea what the word lard meant!)
